Legendary Nigerian musician Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2Face, has explained why Burna Boy is currently ahead of his colleagues Wizkid and Davido.
The African Queen crooner added his voice to the debate over who is a bigger artist between Wizkid, Davido, and Burna Boy in a recent episode of the Mic On podcast.
He, however, noted that his choice wasn’t necessarily inspired by talent, artistry, or success, but based on their current performances.
“Burna Boy, Wizkid, and Davido are all my favorites. But if I must be put on the spot to compare them, I think Burna Boy is at the top of the game right now.
“And my choice isn’t based on talent or artistry because artistry is subjective. I don’t have details of their bank account balances or other personal information. But from what I can measure from at least common sense and understanding of the music world, I think Burna Boy is currently at the top of this chain, not just in Nigeria but also in Africa and the world,” he claimed.
