President Bola Ahmed Tinubu said Senator Opeyemi is one of his closest allies.
Tinubu disclosed this on Friday in a statement by Abiodun Oladunjoye, State House director of Information.
The president spoke against Bamidele’s 60th birthday celebration.
According to him, Bamidele has risen to prominence because of his steadfastness, loyalty, commitment to progressive politics and hard work in promoting the welfare of the people.
“Senator Bamidele is one of my closest allies and protégé…” he said.
He added that the Senator’s sense of duty and talent has continued to propel his political career positively.
“I know of Senator Bamidele’s sense of duty and extraordinary talent, having worked with him for many years. His passion, energy and dedication have propelled him and will continue to serve him in a more fantastic future”, he stated.
The lawmaker, Bamidele, is the Senate Leader and the Senator representing Ekiti Central constituency was born on July 29, 2023.
