Tinubu approves reappointment of Abdullahi as DG of NITDA

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has approved the reappointment of Kashifu Inuwa Abdullahi as the Director General of the National National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA).

Ajuri Ngelale, Special Adviser to the President on Media & Publicity disclosed this in a statement on Wednesday.

Abdullahi was first appointed as the DG of NITDA on August 20 2019, by former president Muhammadu Buhari.

The DG is a thoroughbred IT and transformational expert with competencies across policy formulation, administration and growth.

Similarly, the President also approved the reappointment of Dr Vincent Olatunji as the National Commissioner / CEO of the Nigeria Data Protection Commission (NDPC).
