Nollywood actress Sharon Ooja has announced the birth of her first child with her husband, Ugo Nwoke.
The actress, popularly known as Sharon Ooja, shared the news in an emotional post on her social media page, revealing that she welcomed a baby boy.
Expressing gratitude to God, her husband, family, and friends, Sharon described motherhood as one of the most beautiful experiences of her life.
“I just gave birth to the most handsome baby boy I have ever seen. I’m still so overwhelmed with joy and gratitude,” she wrote.
The actress said pregnancy helped her understand God’s love on a deeper level, adding that the journey transformed her life completely.
She also praised her husband for his unwavering support throughout the pregnancy, thanking him for his care, encouragement, and emotional strength during the nine-month journey.
Sharon further appreciated her family and close friends for helping to keep her pregnancy private and peaceful away from social media attention.
According to her, the couple chose to enjoy the experience quietly, describing the season as “the year God made me laugh.”
The actress also encouraged women trying to conceive, expressing hope that they too would experience similar joy.
Sharon revealed that her son’s initials are “W.I.N” and excitedly embraced her new identity as a mother.
“I’ve always dreamed of being a mummy… and now I finally am,” she added.
Sharon Ooja and Ugo Nwoke reportedly dated for about two and a half months before getting married. The actress announced their private civil wedding ceremony in March 2024.
