Former Nigerian President Olusegun Obasanjo on Sunday paid a surprise visit to Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke at the Government House in Osogbo.
Obasanjo’s visit came shortly after the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) declared Adeleke the winner of Saturday’s keenly contested governorship election.
In a video currently circulating on social media, Obasanjo was seen dancing with the governor as they celebrated Adeleke’s victory.

Nigerian Newssphere reports that President Bola Tinubu, state governors and other political leaders have sent congratulatory messages to Adeleke following his re-election on Saturday.
The governor had extended an olive branch to his opponents after the election, urging them to join hands with his administration.
However, the All Progressives Congress (APC) said it was still reviewing the results and could take legal steps to challenge the outcome.
