Former Ghana Black Stars striker, Asamoah Gyan, has revealed that Nigeria and Galatasaray forward, Victor Osimhen, is his favourite striker in modern football.
Gyan made the remark while speaking with Manchester United legend, Rio Ferdinand, on the Rio Ferdinand Presents podcast, where he was asked to name the striker who excites him most in today’s game.
The former Sunderland forward praised Osimhen’s passion and work ethic, describing the Super Eagles star as a player who gives everything on the pitch.
“Victor Osimhen. Victor Osimhen plays with the heart. He gives everything,” Gyan said.
Gyan also expressed surprise that Europe’s biggest clubs have not made a move for the prolific striker, urging Manchester United to consider signing him.
“I’m surprised the big clubs in the world did not come for him. I’m appealing to Manchester United to come for him,” he added.
