Manchester United legend, Wayne Rooney, has done his predictions for the 2025/26 Premier League season.
Speaking on BBC Sport’s Match of the Day, Rooney predicted Liverpool to win the title for the second consecutive season.
The Reds won it last campaign, finishing 10 points ahead of second position Arsenal.
However, Rooney expects Arsenal to finish as runners-up again, while the top four will be completed by Manchester City and Chelsea.
According to Rooney, Man United will improve their 15th place finish last term and end up in fifth position.
“I still think they need one or two more signings,” Rooney said about the Red Devils.
“But I can see what Amorim is doing. It is looking for better for United. I think they can sneak into the top five.”
