Former footballers, Ray Parlour and Alan Brazil have advised Manchester United against signing Chelsea’s Nicolas Jackson.
Jackson has been linked with a move to Man United following Chelsea’s decision to sign Liam Delap and Joao Pedro.
However, Parlour believes the Senegalese wouldn’t get anywhere near the top category of strikers, while Brazil insisted that the former Villarreal star can’t finish in front of goal.
“The problem you’ve is the lack of number nines and the price goes up,” Parlour told talkSPORT.
“But with some of the strikers Man United have had over the years, I don’t think he [Jackson] would get anywhere near the top category.”
On his part, Brazil added, “He can’t finish. Well he can finish but he needs a lot of chances to score.
“And I would say he’d get more chances but Chelsea are a better side than Man United so I don’t see it working. You never know and I wish him well but I don’t see it working.”
