Dangote Refinery cuts petrol, diesel prices after incessant hikes

Dangote Refinery has announced a reduction in the prices of petrol and diesel after incessant hike in the last ten days.

According to the refinery’s latest pricing template released on March 10, 2026, the gantry price of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), also known as petrol, has been reduced by N100.

The new price now stands N1,075 per liter, down from the previous N1,175 per liter.

The refinery also stated that the price of PMS for coastal supply has been fixed at N1,050 per liter, reflecting a slight adjustment to account for maritime distribution costs.

Similarly, the price of Automotive Gas Oil (AGO), commonly known as diesel, has been reduced to N1,430 per liter at the gantry.

This represents a decrease of N190 from the earlier price of N1,620 per liter.

The company, however, clarified that the gantry prices do not include statutory charges imposed by the Nigerian Midstream and Downstream Petroleum Regulatory Authority.
