The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) has again reduced the pump price of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), marking the second downward review in less than a week.
A Nigerian Newssphere correspondent who monitored several NNPCL retail stations in Abuja on Thursday confirmed that the new pump price has been adjusted to N920 per litre, down from the previous N930, reflecting a N10 reduction.
The revised price took effect across NNPCL outlets in Gwarimpa, Kubwa Expressway, and Wuse Zone 4.
This latest adjustment follows a previous price slash on November 28, 2025, when the state-owned oil company reduced the cost of petrol by N15 per litre.
Speaking with Nigerian Newssphere , the spokesperson of the Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria (IPMAN), Chinedu Ukadike, said Nigerians should expect further price reductions as competition intensifies among major players in the downstream oil sector.
