Chelsea winger Mykhailo Mudryk has been handed a four-year suspension by the Football Association (FA) after breaching anti-doping regulations.
According to reports by the Daily Mail, the sanction represents the maximum penalty for the offense.
Mudryk has since moved to challenge the ruling, filing an appeal with the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) on February 25. However, a hearing date is yet to be fixed.
The 25-year-old has not played for Chelsea FC since November 28, 2024.
The Ukrainian international joined Chelsea from Shakhtar Donetsk in 2023 in a deal worth £88 million and remains under contract at Stamford Bridge until 2030.
