The Prime Minister of the Biafra Republic Government in Exile, Simon Ekpa, has warned prospective users of Biafracoin against emerging fraudsters.
Ekpa disclosed this in a statement on Saturday through his official X account.
Recall that BRGIE, two weeks ago, announced plans to kickstart its Biafracoin, a cryptocurrency platform, in March, 2024.
However, in an update, Mazi Ekpa, the Finnish-based lawyer, urged prospective users of the Biafracoin not to send personal information to anyone outside the official site of the Bank of Biafra.
“Attention to every Biafran on Twitter now X following the development on Biafracoin.
“Please, do not send any email to anyone requesting you to reach out to customer support for your wallet; they are the scammers and disbanded anonymous IPOB Nigeria criminals who have now activated their pages because of Biafracoin, like this Amanda here. Don’t ever send your information to anyone outside the Bank of Biafra official site, which is not public yet”, he wrote.
BRGIE hinted at plans to unveil the website of Biafracoin by March 19, 2024.
