Director of Finance, Nigerian Meteorological Agency, NiMet, Dr Alex Akoji Yusuf has congratulated Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo as the ministry marked it’s 100 years.
NIGERIAN NEWS SPHERE reports that Keyamo on Monday, December 1, hosted a national event in Abuja, the nation’s capital, where he marked the 100 years of aviation in Nigeria.
The centenary celebration was held at the African Hall of the Bola Ahmed Tinubu International Conference Center, Abuja.
Amongst many other programs, the event spotlighted Nigeria’s aviation journey since the first aircraft landed in Kano State in 1925.
Reacting at the end of the event, Akoji in a post on his official Facebook page on Sunday lauded the Minister, describing him as a man filled with “innovative and progressive ideas”.
“Aviation is 100 years…. I’m proud to be part of this. Kudos to the performing Honourable Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo SAN.
“A man filled with innovative and progressive ideas”, Akoji wrote on his Facebook page.
