An alpha Jet belonging to the Nigerian Air Force jet reportedly crashed on Saturday near Karabonde, Borgu Local Government Area of Niger State.
This was disclosed in a Facebook post by a Niger State-based online digital television network, Lapai TV.
According to the post, two pilots survived the unfortunate incident and were successfully rejected.
The post reads, “Two Nigerian Air Force Pilots Reportedly Survive Alpha Jet Crash Close to Karabonde, Borgu Local Government Area of Niger State,”
Although details of the incident are still sketchy, it was learnt that the aircraft took off from the Kainji air force base before crashing in the community.
