Nissi Ogulu, singer and sister to Afrobeats star Damini Ogulu, popularly known as Burna Boy, has debunked viral social media claims alleging that the Grammy winner has parted ways with his mother and longtime manager, Bose Ogulu.
The rumour, which spread widely on X (formerly Twitter), claimed Burna Boy had fired his mother as manager, citing an alleged Instagram Story where he purportedly announced plans to “separate business from family.” The post, shared by ChaftsAfrica, quickly gained traction online.
However, the claims were dismissed by Nissi, who described the reports as fake news. She reacted to the viral tweet on her X account, putting an end to the speculation.
