Early results have begun to emerge from the ongoing governorship election in Ekiti State, with the All Progressives Congress (APC) taking the lead in the first polling units announced.
Although voting was officially scheduled to end at 2:00 p.m., electoral guidelines allow voters already on the queue before the deadline to cast their ballots.
As counting concludes in some polling units, results are gradually being released from across the state.
