Former Big Brother Naija winner Phyna has lost access to her Instagram account amid her ongoing feud with social media critic and influencer VeryDarkMan.
The reality star’s Instagram page was suspended on Monday, shortly after she shared alleged chats involving the influencer.
The controversy followed accusations by Phyna that VeryDarkMan manipulated public opinion against her after she allegedly rejected his sexual advances.
Reacting to the allegation, VeryDarkMan denied the claims, insisting that there was nothing wrong with seeking consent between two adults. He also challenged Phyna to provide evidence to support her accusation.
According to a report by Daily Post, Phyna later posted screenshots of what she claimed were conversations between herself and the influencer on her Instagram page.
Hours after the post went up, her Instagram account became inaccessible, triggering mixed reactions online, with some social media users alleging that she deliberately deactivated the account herself.
Addressing the development in a post on X, Phyna dismissed the claims, stating that the account was suspended and not voluntarily deactivated.
“I didn’t deactivate my IG… deactivate, say wetin happen na? It got suspended,” she wrote.
