The All Progressives Congress, APC, has finally cleared former lawmaker Ben Murray-Bruce after an earlier report of his alleged disqualification ahead of general elections.
Nigerian Newssphere reports that the APC on Monday released the list of senatorial aspirants not cleared to participate in the party’s ongoing Senate primary elections.
Ben Murray Bruce was listed among 46 other top party members aspiring for the upper legislative chamber but disqualified.
However, Murray, in a post on his official X handle, denied the report, stating that he has “neither withdrawn nor been disqualified.”
Shortly after his post, the party swiftly updated the list with Murray’s name conspicuously absent.
