UEFA has appointed German referee Daniel Siebert to officiate the UEFA Champions League final between Arsenal and Paris Saint-Germain in Budapest on May 30.
The appointment marks Siebert’s first UEFA club competition final since becoming a FIFA-listed referee in 2015.
The 42-year-old has handled nine Champions League matches this season, including Arsenal’s quarter-final clash against Sporting CP and their semi-final encounter with Atlético Madrid.
Siebert also officiated matches at both UEFA Euro 2020 and UEFA Euro 2024 tournaments.
He will be assisted by fellow German officials Jan Seidel and Rafael Foltyn, while Bastian Dankert will oversee VAR duties.
