Supreme Court announces date to rule on ADC, PDP leadership crises

Nigeria’s Supreme Court is set to deliver key judgments on Thursday, April 30, in separate cases arising from the internal crises rocking the African Democratic Congress (ADC) and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

Both matters have been listed for hearing on the apex court’s official schedule, according to Nigerian Newssphere.

Details show that the ADC case, marked SC/CV/180/2026, is fixed for 2 p.m., while the time for the PDP matter has not been specified.

The disputes stem from lingering leadership and structural disagreements within the two parties.

It would be recalled that the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) had earlier nullified the leadership of David Mark in the ADC, citing a ruling of the Court of Appeal.
