Former Manchester United midfielder Paul Scholes said Manchester City still hold the advantage in the Premier League title race ahead of Arsenal.
Arsenal closed the gap to three points after a 1-0 win over Newcastle United, although City have a game in hand.
Scholes pointed to three key factors—experience, mentality, and the influence of manager Pep Guardiola—as decisive.
“All eyes are on Arsenal in this title race, and to be fair, they’re giving everything.
“They’ve pushed it all the way and stayed right in the fight with Manchester City.
“But when it gets to this stage, the small details decide everything.
“City have the experience, the mentality, and a serial winner in Pep Guardiola who knows exactly how to close out a title race.
“With Arsenal, there are still questions. Do they have enough firepower? Do they have that ruthless edge in the final moments when it matters most? Because that’s what separates contenders from champions.”
