The Dangote Petroleum Refinery has raised the gantry price of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) and Automotive Gas Oil.
For petrol the latest adjustment is the third price increase within one week.
Checks on petroleumprice.ng on Monday showed that the refinery increased its PMS price to N1,175 per liter, up from N995 per liter announced on Friday.
The latest adjustment represents an increase of N180, or about 18.1 percent, within three days.
The refinery also revised the gantry price of Automotive Gas Oil, popularly known as diesel, to N1,620 per liter.
Nigerian Newsphere recalls that the refinery had recently increased the price of PMS to N995 per liter from N874, a development that pushed pump prices of petrol above N1,000 per liter across the country.
This means that the Nigerian National Petroleum Company, MRS stations, and others will further raise their petrol price to nearly N1,400 per liter.
