Israel has announced the killing of Rahman Mokadam, the head of the special operations division of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).
According to Israeli authorities, Mokadam was eliminated on Wednesday amid heightened tensions between the United States and Iran.
Reports indicate that Mokadam was allegedly linked to a foiled assassination attempt targeting US President Donald Trump on the eve of the 2024 presidential election.
The development comes as geopolitical strains between Washington and Tehran continue to escalate.
