Senator Lawal Adamu Usman (Kaduna Central) also joined the ADC after leaving the PDP.

Earlier during plenary, the Deputy Speaker, Benjamin Kalu, disclosed that six members of the PDP had defected to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
