The All Progressives Congress (APC) has reshuffled the leadership of its 2026 National Convention Central Coordination Committee, naming former Katsina State Governor Aminu Bello Masari as the new chairman.
Imo State Governor Hope Uzodimma, who was earlier announced as chairman of the committee, has been reassigned to the position of treasurer.
The ruling party also expanded the membership of the committee from 73 to 90 members, a move aimed at accommodating additional party stakeholders.
Among the newly appointed members are Senator Barry Mpigi and other notable APC chieftains.
The APC explained that the changes were part of a review of the 2026 National Convention Central Coordination Committee, undertaken to address zoning considerations and other strategic party needs.
