Nollywood has been thrown into mourning following the death of popular actor Chijioke Nwokafor, popularly known as CJay Nwoks.
CJay died on Wednesday, September 30, 2026, at an undisclosed hospital in the Badore area of Lagos State.
The news of his death was announced by actress Nkechi Blessing, who cast CJay as the lead actor in her new movie.
Nkechi, who was visibly emotional in a video shared on her Instagram page, said the movie, which was scheduled for release at 5pm on Wednesday, would no longer be released following the actor’s death.
