EPL: Supercomputer names five teams that will qualify for Champions League

Opta’s Supercomputer has projected the five Premier League teams most likely to qualify for next season’s UEFA Champions League.

With England set to produce five representatives again, Arsenal and Manchester City are already expected to secure two of the spots as the title race continues.

According to the latest prediction, Manchester United, Liverpool and Aston Villa are strongly favoured to claim the remaining three places, each with a 97 per cent probability of finishing in the top five.

The three clubs remain tightly contested in the standings, separated by just three points. Aston Villa and Liverpool currently occupy fourth and fifth positions, holding an eight-point advantage over sixth-placed Brighton, further strengthening their qualification prospects.
