Swiss Nigeria’s Noah Okafor delivered an outstanding performance, scoring twice to lead Leeds United to a 2-1 victory over Manchester United at Old Trafford on Monday.
Okafor opened the scoring early in the match, finding the net in the 5th minute before doubling Leeds’ advantage with another goal in the 29th minute of the first half.
Manchester United attempted a comeback in the second half, with Casemiro pulling one back in the 69th minute. However, the hosts were unable to find an equalizer.
United’s chances were further dented when Martinez was sent off in the 56th minute, reducing the team to 10 men.
