Nollywood actor Frederick Leonard has filed a petition against filmmaker and media personality Stanley Ontop, accusing him of defamation.
The petition, dated January 28, 2026, was submitted to the Delta State Police Command through Leonard’s legal representatives, Uche Okoro & Co. In the document, the actor alleged that Stanley Ontop had persistently defamed his reputation without provocation for over two years.
Leonard further claimed that the filmmaker had repeatedly presented the public with a negative and misleading impression of his person.
Sharing the petition on his Instagram page on Monday morning, the actor issued a stern warning, declaring that he would pursue the matter to its legal conclusion.
In a caption accompanying the post, Leonard wrote, “Mr. Stanley Chibueze Ajemba, a.k.a. Stanley Ontop. You have been served. The law will take its course to the full extent. You first; others will follow. If you claim or allege, you must prove it with evidence. I’m coming for you.”
